Joy is a fleeting visitor comprised of orientation and action. It is the fulcrum between where we orient our attitude and act out gratitude. When orientation and action balance on their teeter tottering fulcrum joy flickers and alights.


Today’s image seems to be a metaphor of that very concept. You can meld into the colours behind the moistened glass or you can find the surface calling out night frost warming in morning light. It is all beautiful yet not one place in the image is the same as another.

That is joy, everywhere beauty can be found while nowhere is the same and everything is always in flux.
