Nothing like a horse to put you in your place, generate tears, infiltrate fears, and tease out pure joy! You run the show, only because the horse will respond to your current state of mind. The horse will win any argument, as you are the featherweight in that dialogue. In the meantime all the horse does is issue a challenge to be completely authentic. It is a breathtaking challenge, well worth the work.
The first thing a horse will teach you is where you need to let go. It could be the jaw, as they are found to be yawning nearby. It could be a sense of boundaries, as the forthright walk toward you, gauging how you stand your ground. It could be a rolling in the dust, to relieve overpowering emotions, and snow-globe up dusty joy.
